From the people to the music, to the food, to the sights, Dublin exceeded my expectations! Here are a few of the best shots from the past few days.
Flowers growing everywhere!
First glimpse at the city
New & old collide- a constant trend in Dublin

Walking up to Christ Church

Trinity College Berkeley Library was named after George Berkeley- the namesake of my school (UC Berkeley) and the city of Berkeley.
Trinity College and UC Berkeley have a lot in common including this art installation by Arnaldo Pomodoro.
Another installation at Trinity College whose sister is located at UC Berkeley. This one is called the Cactus!
Performance art on Grafton St.
Flower market!
Beautiful churches around every corner!
Another example of the juxtaposition between new and old.
Inside St. Patrick’s Cathedral before sung service
The entrance to the archeological museum of Dublin
Am I a Riverdancer yet?!
Brilliant performance of Irish dance by Riverdance. It blew my mind how fast their feet move! And the music was out of this world!
The Liffey River at night.
Another hidden architectural wonder
I found a leprechaun on O’Connell St.

These ivy houses are so cute!
I need a whole other album for beautiful Irish doors!

I feel as though I too am a go getter gal journeying alongside you in beautiful Ireland. Thank you for sharing the beautiful photographs and descriptions. I look forward to reading about and seeing pics of the pristine Irish greenery. I noticed the cleanliness of the city and appreciate their displays of flags and flowers. Thank you for transporting us US dwellers to the gorgeousness of Ireland through your awesome photojournalism

Thanks Vanessa! You are a go getter gal (and don’t you forget it)! 😀 Wish I could brand everything with that theme a little more but I’m so absorbed taking it all in! When I’m traveling solo I hope to share some stories of other #gogettergals as well! Sending you love!
